Way Too Many Chances
I want to take a peak at what's in your soul
And pour that beauty into my life
But every time I try you just become cold
And kill me through words that are your knife
I want to know you for what three years are worth
And melt in the fire of our friendship
But my knowledge of you is at a great dearth
And when we are together, you only make me go through hardship
I want to stay with you forever
And ignore everyone telling me to leave
But it seems that when I try to be your friend, my heart only gets severed
And you refuse to mend the sadness that this makes me conceive
