That one about that freak
It was great to know you found me unique

Thanks for that note on my locker
That one that said “loser”
I was glad you thought of me

Thanks for the looks you gave me
Those ones that you flashed while others were nearby
I appreciated that you noticed me

Thanks for making me feel welcome
Inviting your friends to laugh with you
I loved making someone’s day

Thank you for making the person I am today
I wouldn’t be the same without you
Yes, you, who made me stronger
