I cannot let you see this tear
Because I had a dream, so clear;
Are you sure it was not all a blur,
The dream that you had of her?

Since I dreamt of a little boy
Who only brought joy!
Was it all a blur?
Her?

He’s like you,
With eyes so blue.
Wasn’t it all a blur,
Your dreams of her?

A little girl? Was it really?
Don’t you think it’s a little silly?
Are you sure? Wasn’t it all just a blur,
Your dreams of my little daughter, her?

My son I dreamt, he would fight for you and I
Like how you fought for me, he’d give it all and try
Are you sure your dreams of her were not all a simple blur?
Was your dream really not of a boy, but of my daughter, her?

For now, I guess we will have to wait and see who will be right
But really, I do have a feeling that I will most likely win this fight;
Instead of telling you everything, I ask, ignoring your possible blur,
‘Did you like your dream you had of my daughter…a little girl…of her?’
