After a long battle through the summer season
Of miles melting
While pounding pavement
On top of rocky, smooth, or treacherous terrain
Nimbus 13 ended with a shoe struggle
Replaced by the next momentous model
However few forgot
Its jubilant journey
Starting shinny
Sharp rubber ridges,
Encompassed its unused underneath
Broken in throughout one wondrous week
Nimbus 13 experienced runs like a nonstop nomad
Ending adventures around
Sweat soaked socks
Regrettably reporting
Three hundred miles, its career crested
