What's left
It is not the boy or the girl
It is not the setting or the scene
It is not the money or the cars
It is not the drug deals, or the bars
The way that she flipped her hair
Or the way he held you there.
Your belongings won’t exist
Ex lovers won’t be missed.
When it comes down to it- all that is left
Is the veracity that life is better lived than spent.

It really inspired me to put that out there in one of my poems.
