Nature and the Tree
My time here is fleeting
 Your time here is fleeting
Life my friend is a fleeting thing
Standing on The soft blade of grass under my feet
 I realize that I’m meak
The tree around me towers over me
For years they’ve lived happy as can be
 Sure some have fallen down
But most are firmly planted in the ground
Now new animals have made their homes
 In your warm hollow trunks
But one day they’ll be gone
And hopefully those holes won’t be filled with junk
 It’s so beautiful out here
I hate to think it might all disappear
So for now ill just enjoy it
 And stay here and sit
For a long time will I sit
