When Life Hurts

Take me away to a peaceful place,
where there is no hurt or illness to face.
Let me be happy and live in today,
I just want my worries to go away.
Give me love and understand my pain,
but hold my hand when it hurts again.
Hold me in your arms when times are tough,
there is no other place where I feel so much love.
When I want to cry and just give up,
there you are lifting my spirits right back up.
If it hurts too much inside of me,
I reach for you and you always set me free.
