In the frozen depths of winter
As snow spatters its foreign starch
And it becomes almost impossible to think
That the identity of one
Is larger than the universe
All is white and mysterious,
Covered in a sheet of frost and snow
As the wind sends silver ripples through the air
And the crystal waters really are crystal-
Of clear ice covered in pale, pale snow
These thousands of unknown worlds
Which arise from nowhere
In the frozen depths of winter
