To the singing of a bird’s song
The day to come is so unknown
You choose what comes along
Whether you are treated badly
Or the action is reversed
Just carry on, my darling
Carry on through the worst
The future could hold love
Or the possible letdown
Just keep on that face a smile
No need to show the world a frown
When the day is over and it’s time to rest
