Meaning
What’s with all these technicalities?
Does everything I do seem flawed to you?
Where can I find the perfection you seek?
Is none of anything I do good for you?
Sometimes I feel like standing up for myself,
Bu then I realize it may hurt you.
If I can’t do anything right, can I stop this
Constant, never-ending criticism?
When I start to try, it never comes out right.
Why can’t I pick the right words against you?
(Not in a competitive or rude way, of course)
so why does all of my effort go to waste,
when all you seem to find are my mistakes?
