The life we waste
While the hours seem shorter, the minutes seem longer,
And for this I begin to ponder,
What is the meaning of life when we are suppose to give more than we take while we still take more than we give,
And because of this there are some I will never forgive,
When my childhood took a turn for the shoddier,
I once again began to ponder,
How as humans can we wander and wander,
And still not squander.
