Shrouded in darkness I here whispers in my room.
“Will, it’s time to get up, you have a busy day.”
I revel from my covers and leave my tomb,
today School is an eight hour place I will stay.

I arrive at the place I’ve dreaded so long.
My backpack filled with homework from the night before
From class to band I play a gong.
The class, cut short no longer more.

Sirens go off, everyone screams.
We all duck in a corner against the wall.
BOOM! And down comes the beams.
14 casualties, in light bright dreams I will fall.

Through the light a man offers his hand.
Past the golden gate everything moves so fast.
Now I am awaken by the sounds of band.
“Will Head off desk.” I guess it’s time for class.
