Trying to find my world in yours
Treated as if I don't exist
Why am I a shadow of you
I am no longer my own person
I am only in the darkness
No more am I me
I am turning into a slave
I am a character in your story
I will no longer find myself
I always seem to find you
I am lost in a world that is only you
More and more life falls
More and more my freedom calls
But you seem to chain me as a prisoner in your kingdom
But I will always try to find a way out
I will do everything I can, even scream and shout

The author's comments:
I wanted to write a piece that can connect to an individual in way of understanding, because we some times seem to try to be something we are not. But in the end its better to be yourself, be more you, then someone else.
