Broken Mirror
The mirror that hangs on his wall
Has cracked and become obscure,
Leaving him alone to doubt
What reality is for sure.
In the presence of the broken glass
And the glare of the scattered light
Stands a confused, distraught man
Filled with the unknown and fright.
But what the disfigured image
Will not reflect upon or tell
Is that for our lost soul
Things will soon be well.
The cruelty of this reality
May not truly pass
But it can't eternally
Hold this man in its grasp.
Joy and happiness shall
Join the lost man soon
And eventually he'll
Find love under the moon.
