Hold on
They say hold on
But what can I hold on to?
Broken
Shattered
Beaten down and bruised
Falling
Deeper
And still nowhere to land
Everything is wrong
All I was is gone
There’s no end
It will always be this way
Life will kill us all
Death is the only way to end the fall
Not the first
Others have been here before
I look up and our eyes meet
You fall along with me
The deadness of my being
Reflected in your face
The blood running down your arms
Reflected in my scars
Then the black rips you away
And I’m left alone again
