Grim Reaper.

My soul is mine to keep

Grim this is one you will not reap hold my soul very near

You are one I do not fear

Don't touch my soul or that of my family

You give so little and take so much

Ill send out the dogs and wait for the fatal crunch

Do we have an understanding you and I

And Grim don't even try to lie

My soul is mine to keep

So Grim go find another place to reap

I like your use of rhyming. Sometimes rhyming doesn't work and makes the poem sound elementary, but it certainly works in this piece. It's succinct, but none less effective. Great poem!
