I was inspired by my current relationship with my boyfriend and the relationship problems we have before we got together. We talked for almost 6 months and the whole time he was messing around with one of his "chick friends." He always let her hang all over him right in front of me, he would COMPLETELY stop talking to me and start talking to her if she walked up and I just got tired of it so I decided to write this poem for English class. Once I wrote it I gave him a copy and he finally realized how bad he hurt me and from that day he hasn't talked to her or had anything to do with her. After all of this I am still truly in love with this guy, but he has to gain my trust back and he also has to show me that he truly only wants me in his life and not her.
