Drowning in a darkness of deep despair,
Believing the lies I hear,
Seeing the truth not there.

See the rays of the sun,
They shine upon my scars,
Reaching for broken smiles, among those hidden stars.

I can hear the tears,
They fall from your eyes,
While you,
believe my hidden secrets,
And share my stolen lies.

Bring me back to life,
Give me air to breath,
Let me see the sorrow,
upon my broken dreams.

I wrote this during a bad part of my life. when my grandmother died. She meant the world to me. And I all ready had self-esteem problems but it pushed me over the edge. And some days I think I am still in free fall.
