Others: "I'm sorry. I didn't mean it. I say things I don't mean when I'm angry.". Me: "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. I say things I wouldn't normally say when I'm angry. Did I mean it? Heck yeah I meant it! I just wouldn't have said it!"

There’s a war going on inside
A tiring, never-ending battle
Freedom and fighting become one
Safety and silence are united
Neither can win, nor can they lose
A truce, impossible to make
Freedom wishes for safety
Safety wishes to join freedom
Fighting can’t stand silence
Silence stays away from fighting
Two worlds wanting similar things
One little thing making that impossible
Raise the white flag, either side
A person staring out the window
Wanting to join his brothers
Knowing he’s needed here
As he watches the TV for news
Of the war going on outside.
