A doll
Pushed to the ………………………………………………….. corner
While you play with other toys
Alone with the dust bunnies
Want to be played with
Dress up
Put on a face
And sit and wait
My stitches are loosening
My fabric is wearing out
But I still wait…………………………………………………………..
I will dust off, and start walking
This might
But I’ll endure the pain
It will make me stronger
I’ll make my choices, and hold the outcome as a prize.
This little doll is now a mannequin.
