As a single tear falls down this face
I realize how much I’ve loved, lost, and want.
As a single tear falls down this face
My heart is torn in two pieces
To be eaten, chewed, and spit out like it’s nothing.
As a single tear falls down this face
I realize I need love more than anything
And that there are those who don’t want me to get it.
As a single tear falls down this face
I realize I could end all this pain
With a single slice of the wrist or throat, but I won’t.
As a single tear falls down this face
I know I can fight through this
But it will be my hardest journey ever.
As a single tear falls down this face
I realize that I have worse to come…

DRAKEGRACE: i read ur poem, really really nice job! I'm sorry if you ever had to go through any of this, i understand.. me too.. a lot of my poetry reflects on that.. keep writing though, it was truly moving.
