She's An Angel In My Eyes

She was meant to be an angel but they cut off her wings.
She went through hell, heaven, and everything between.
Broken and bruised she got up and dust herself off
Without a word she went on
With no ones help at all
She lived without living
She dreamed without hope
She drifted away
She ignored her pain
She was kicked to the ground
But when she got back up
There was still a smile on her face
As if to say is that all you got?
She's strong and independent
She'll never admit defeat
To this day her head is high
She's still an angel in my eyes.
