Maybe if I just don't think,
time will erode over me
-weathering my exterior down with its overwhelming sounding waves.
Only wearing down my surface because deep underneath,
everything I don't wish to think, will never be reached by rippling waves
-lacking the power it takes to dig deep.

The author's comments:
This is about having the discipline to be stronger than the weaker part of yourself because I am controlling my thoughts. This is also about a temporary solution or fix for my problem because I am deciding to take a breather and not think about it but eventually I will have to think about my problem and develop a better solution for it. Sometimes the best break we can have is a break from ourselves, in my opinion.
