To you it’s just another day
To me it’s living everyday like it’s my last
To you it’s just an animal
To me it’s the wet noses, muddy paw prints, and tail wagging
To you it’s just a house
To me it’s that corner in my room where I think about that special someone
To you it’s just a clock ticking
To me it’s time that I should be feeding the homeless
To you it’s just a sport
To me it’s the sound of the metal spikes clicking off the mound
To you it’s just a song
To me it’s blasting 50 cent in the car with my friends
To you it’s just another baby being born
To me it’s another gift from God, my baby cousin
To you this is just some stupid poem
