Old Memories

A golden glow illuminates
the brilliant blue,
two wheels and
a grainy gray wall
help it to stay standing.

Handlebars turned away
from the wall looking
out over
a flowing field of grass
as if remembering those
distant memories
but all things must end
so why pretend
they won’t?
