Favorite Quote:
"No matter how hard you think things are, somewhere someone is going through a worse time then you."

The air thickens as the sky darkens from clouds in the distance
Humidity and tranquility extend throughout the atmosphere
The wind picks up serving as music to fuel the dances of the trees
Clouds gather hiding the suns blistering rays
One by one drops of water are slowly released from the sky
Startling unsuspecting pedestrians out unprepared
Water falls faster and faster beginning to quench the Earth's ever growing thirst
People hide away, an attempt to stay dry and warm
A light rumble rolls in from afar then a dim light flashes, miles away
Everything is still, time has stopped as the rain continues to fall

Two years ago, on a rainy April afternoon I sat down and started to write. This is the first (and my favorite) of the many poems i wrote that day.
