My Journey
My Heart feels like a big black hole
Sucking all the good emotions
Leaving all the bad ones
I feel like the sky without the stars
It’s beautiful shine and glow taken
I feel like a drought that has not seen rain in months
Missing all the nourishment and love that has been given by the clouds
I feel like the earth on a hot summer day
With a burden over my shoulder
I feel like Autumn leaf swept in the breeze
Floating in the air trying to find the right place to fall and feel safe
I feel like a cold winter storm
Angry, Cold, and Bitter,
But also free and light, sparkling with the night lights
I feel like a spring day after rain
Refreshed and Restored after a year’s worth of change
