Silence
I've said these words too much,
Only to be silenced and unheard,
My tears run down my face,
Only to fall to their doom.
My tears power my voice,
But I wipe them away,
Never let me know happiness,
Never let me smile.
My heart is hidden in my own darkness,
Killed by my own decisions,
Beaten and abused,
Scars all over.
I slowly fade,
Burn away,
Trampled by the foot of depression,
And locked away from love.
All because of me.
