I am deep under the once crystal but now black water
I know whats coming and that there is no way to stop it
Looking up at the world about me I realize how much I am about to lose
I can't breathe, its suffocating me, but I don't notice it anymore
I can feel myself slowly fading away, giving in to the cold water
Just as I slip away into darkness, I begin to see a light
A light that I know will save me and I won't be lost

The author's comments:
I almost drowned in a pool when I was little so that was what this was about but reading it over again, it sounds like something completely different.
