why can't people go back
to what they once were?
to the ways should
have been and
forever staid.

sometimes it feels better to
fall inside the
story that began yesterday

to dream of


the magic wishing apple
the wicked step-mother


perhaps if I'm lucky
true loves' kiss

if I can dream of those things
there is no telling what I
can believe

that maybe there is yet
an untold power in
me that I just need to
find

I have an impression it;s
in my grasp
I just need to
know if it is indeed
mine to take
