Through Twilight's Veil I see
Many different things.
Teamwork, independence, martyrdom.
I can see, I can feel, the joy and enthusiasm of blood-lust.

Glancing at bloodstained weapons and tattered clothing, I see the false image of victory.
We look at ourselves after this battle.
We are nothing but murderers.

I see hatred, rage, and grief among us.
Something we overlook easily, amidst combat.
Perhaps what we perceive as a true win is obscured.

We are caught in a vicious cycle of battle after battle to be fought.
We are controlled like puppets.
Dying countless deaths, and having to face bitter defeat, is a feeling that we will have to overcome for the rest of out lives.

Efforts have not been in vain, however I feel that this never ending chain of wars has been a mistake.
How do you solve disputes with bullets or swords?
How has this false sense of justice overcome us?

I grow tired of this place.
This prison we are forced to fight in.

Through this shroud of stars,
I do not see "victory" anymore.
I see countless bodies, strewn around like forgotten toys.
I see bloodthirsty, evil people.
I see people risking their lives for this.

I do not regret anything I have done.
These battles have been fought with purpose.

Through Twilight's Veil I see many different things,
But I do not see regret.
I will never see regret.
