watching, I try
not to.
bad enough you
touch her hand
I can feel the lines you trace
from every life you live
from here
but agony feels
sweet upon my tongue
sweet like berry
snow
like the opening
scene
it fills me to the brim
maybe I’ll never remember the end
to the story
I hope not

god I hope not
