Thoughts
There are thoughts on my mind and words on my tongue.
But it’s truly strange, losing sight of forever young.
The world is so near, yet life so distant
Rain is so hard, the sun so resistant.
Losing sight of what's real is easier done than said
Although I'll never look back on the life that I've led.
For beauty at its essence
Is imperfection at its finest.
