Know How Much I Love You
I love you
I whisper softly in his ear
I love you more than you could ever imagine
And more than you will ever know
I press my lips to his cheek
When I look into you eyes I am lost
Like floating in the middle of the ocean
Without a care in the world
I run my fingers through his hair
And your smile
Oh, how I love your smile
It cradles my love
And holds the key to my heart
I take his hand in mine
My heart races every time I see you
I can’t catch my breath
And you and me are the only two left in the room
I lay my head gently next to his
Even now my mind is racing
There are so many words
And so few years
A tear rolls down my cheek and drips onto his plaid blue shirt
But for now just know I love you
I love you so much
