Letter To My Daughter
As my girls converse about the future
Names for children and things
I cant help to think my daughter will have wings
Wings to fly over adversity but feet to walk the sweet road to her dreams
I'll tell her whatever she wants it's her with a little patience time and effort
Not to stay mime but to speak her mind
Keep opinionated and strong because she deserves no less
Never to let a boy get her best
Because honey that star football player won't get you to the top
Give him 3 years and that NFL dream just might flop
To walk with her head held a little higher
Independence is a hell of a thing
So as my girls say things like '' Oh she'll be such a diva!! " I'll just say:
Im raising the next Queen Sheba.
