If I were a poem,
I’d be romantic and sweet.
Sensitive guys
Would kneel at my feet.
If I were a poem,
I’d be funny and cute,
Brighter than sunshine
And sweeter than fruit.
If I were a poem,
I’d speak the tragic truth;
I’d open your eyes
And dissolve your youth.
If I were a poem,
I’d be a scandalous one;
Filled with thoughts of pleasure
And late night fun.
I’d be romantic and sweet.
Sensitive guys
Would kneel at my feet.
If I were a poem,
I’d be funny and cute,
Brighter than sunshine
And sweeter than fruit.
If I were a poem,
I’d speak the tragic truth;
I’d open your eyes
And dissolve your youth.
If I were a poem,
I’d be a scandalous one;
Filled with thoughts of pleasure
And late night fun.
