The answer to no, is yes.

If death was avoided with a little lie,
Would this world still have truth?
If by one word you would never die,
We would all hang our own noose.
We would all lose hope,
If any is still left in place.
I will tie for you a rope,
As we see the end of a race.
You say it's half full,
But I call it half empty.
It's called loss you fool!
But to gain is still tempting.
Now that everything is going to die,
There is no point to your little lie.
