The wind breaks through my window
It reminds me of that night
I just miss the way we were together
But that night we were torn apart
Those days we spent together
We cherished side by side together
They were great
But there were days where you never spoke
I was scared and you were too
The shame in your eyes was there to see
You were hurting, I was to
I never understood
I tried to help, I tried to save you
But you never had hope
You just cried yourself to sleep
Hoping you'll be alright
You could've told me what went wrong
I could've saved you
Then you would be here with me
It was to late
I walked in the bedroom
All I felt was the cold breeze upon my skin
I looked and all I saw was you hanging from the rope
I was hurt, but never understood why
I found the note you left me on the bed
The note explained it all
You were reaching out but no one could hear
No one understood
You never had hope that you'd be saved
You wished you still had the bad
So you would taste the good
Everything is over
I never knew until now
The wind breaks through my window
It reminds me of you
I just miss the way we were
Together side by side
