Retaliatiom
From the day I opened my eyes
To the time I saw my grandma cry,
I live to the greatest deeds
That my mom and dad encourage me.
From gunshots, to warfare’s, to tragedies and nightmares,
My family will get there--
The golden gate I dare share.
My brothers who eye me down
Shall put on me thy noble crown
Of genuine imagination
And audacious scenes of retaliation.
Cut it down it grows back up
The Benedict’s motto engraved in my cup.
Drink from the chalice of pure succession,
Emerge from the ashes of the money recession.
Let the phoenix into your cage
Tame the beast that drives your rage,
For the mind is a terrible thing to waste
And failure is the predicament we all must taste.
