transitions.
As the lights faded
I watched from the window
Sight blurred by inclement weather
I remember rubbing my eyes
As if to say goodbye
And then time flashed
Like in a dream
Or a movie
Moving in space
And in time too
Without even moving
It was still raining
I don't think it was the same rain, though
It was nothing more than rain
Rain of another day
Although it took me back
Literally
It forced me into the ground
Where we were
You and I
We danced in the night
Paying no attention to time
For I believe we were in a dimension
Not in time
But in the sentiment buried in the sediment
Where you and I lay
Dancing
Dancing, dancing
