Strong words fill the air
And leave me hanging without any love
Left me in the dark of night
The low misty clouds
Within my reach
They seem as shallow as my soul will reach
You go through it once or twice
Hopefully not as much as me
I want someone to understand
How to live my life
What I’m going through
Not all the cover-ups
With giggling; laughter
But with broken hearts
Tears; anguish
It hurts me to talk about
I don’t understand
Why you don’t care
I’m screaming for help
Crying for someone to hold me
Love me; cherish me
