Mirror
I have a best friend
That is always is there for me
And I want to be there for you too
For when your emotions run free
You tell me that you’re ugly
And that you’re not good enough
But it’s just because you grew
Up facing judgment so tough
I tell you that you’re beautiful
And that everyone is gifted
Lucky to know you exist
And to let their stress be lifted
Then you deny all I said
And say that you’re useless
You then mention suicide
And I beg you not to do this
Then you go to reach some pills
And my hand reaches at the same time
But as both hands come to a halt
I realize both hands are mine
