Sweet Dreams
I haven't felt the sweet pain of a blade in a while.
The pain shoots through me like a bullet.
My veins scream a silent scream while my heart sings quiet victory.
The blood leaves in a rush, falling ever so sickly.
The tears fall slowly, stopping just at my chin to slowly drip, drip down my neck.
The blade shines in the light, like a small trophy presenting my pain, tanting me with the power it holds.
The radio plays a song I don't listen to.
While my heartbeat slows, slows, leaving me barely awake, letting me see the last drop of blood fall, fall until it hits the ground with a quiet splat.
I'm now left to sleep, sleep.
