Her Desperate Plea
She wishes she could get rid of this fear
That sometimes makes her eyes tear
This thing is tearing her apart
Leaving an ache in her heart
She wants this thing to go away
Not just hold it at bay
She knows that it won’t leave her
She knows this for sure
It’s like a monster that hides
Within the shadows behind
It’s getting harder to cope
But she still holds on to a little sliver of hope
That everything will turn out okay
And wishes desperately that it does turn out that way
