I like my bacon like I like my enemies...
Burnt and sizzling for mercy

A December day a year back
I was walking home with frost bitten hands
I spot a cat on our porch
Sitting there are if king
When I come up to him
I rub him for luck
And for my hands
It’s fur is warm and inviting
I fell it’s pulsating in my hand
And I now it’s all right

My cats always were into basking outside in the warm sun no matter the temperature. When ever I walked the driveway from school they watch me with such interest. And as if it was to stop my hands from freezing i'd move my hands under them to heat my hands.
