Wherever you look, there they stand,
people who fail to consider you a man.

But how can a person with distinct chivalry like this,
be amongst a crowd and go amiss.
Head up high, wings in the air,
ready to fight off every single scare.
You are the one people want to see
ruling this nation without a single bit of greed.
A love for the people, a love for making things right,
this we can see through all your glorious fights.
You killed the enemy, protected us too
what else in the world is left for you to do?
More accomplished than any ruler, soldier or man,
your love for us makes me your number one fan.
You are our hero, someone we can never forget,
believe me when I say we will never fret.
For now we have you to guard us through the night
a man with courage and attached to his name, a heroic light.

The author's comments:
As with any politician, people attempt to degrade president Obama and the efforts he has made in his term in office. This poem may be simple but it accurately represents how I perceive our President, my hero, and the man I deem best fit to represent our country and win the re-election of 2012
