The waves of the sea reflect
Images of a crepuscular light
The waves of the sea detect
A floral child amidst its final blight

A feeling of utmost ruth
For her Earthly sibling's misfortune
A feeling of deceased youth
As the flower's plight ends in a dune

The fading light reveals
What seems to be a final resting place
The sand attempts to conceal
And provide a most loving embrace

As the moonlight takes its role
As the illuminator of the night
A new life starts to unfold
One of a flower colored pure white

The light of the moon shines
On a spot in sand encompassing death
The light of the moon shines
On a spot in sand touched by love's breath
