Hide and Seek
You’re hidden from sight
Left me to find you
You keep running away
While I desperately try to catch up
You assume this is a game
Just something merely to entertain
But I feel it’s more than that
You laugh and snicker
I call out your name
You push me away
Then keep running
And hiding
And running
And hiding
I’m left there alone
Standing in the dark
Wishing this game would end
So I would finally win
And you would give in
You would then stop
Hiding your heart from me
Because in the end
This isn’t just a game
