My Nothingness

Oh, love of my life
Thy lingering eyes dwell upon
My nothingness

How doth thy see beauty
In such a darkened soul?
Thine eyes shine bright
Upon my nothingness

For I am a useless nothing
Without thy tender love
Thine eyes see me for who I'm not
Thine eyes deceive thee
For there’s nothing dwelling here
But a darkened soul

Oh love of my life
How I dream that thine eyes
Dwell upon my nothingness
For years to come.
Thy see more in me than others before thee have.
I love thee with all my heart.

Oh my love, Oh my dearest
My heart calls out your name
Thine eyes shine bright
Upon my nothingness
