Purple Glow

Through the darkness, deep in the night
A purple glow from the closet is bright
Encapsulating my body with shadows that drip
As the shadow moves the door

The dripping continues for an hour more
'Til purple blood is spilled on the floor
As the blood spreads towards my bed
The smell of ash fills up my body

The blood gets closer as the light goes out
I slowly rise up to move about
When I reach and open the closer door
It is none but my purple candle, melted to the floor
